Sheryl Crow, Joe Firstman
Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh, PA....
The show was close to sold out. I didn't arrive early enough to see first opener Greta Gaines, who was not listed as a performer. Crow played piano for the encore. An enjoyable performance, loaded with crowd-pleasers. I would see the same performance again a week later but in the remarkable environment of Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
I went to dinner with someone from Atlantic Records prior to the show (Firstman was signed to Atlantic). His music struck me as being Counting Crows-esque.
